What data we collect
We collect the following data when you use HatchSolo:
- Account data: Email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
- Idea submissions: The business ideas you submit for scoring, including description, target market, and audience.
- Build session data: Chat messages and generated code when using the build engine.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, device type.
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.
Why we collect it
- To provide the service (scoring, validation, brand creation, building).
- To improve our scoring algorithms using anonymised, aggregated data.
- To communicate with you about your account and projects.
- To process payments.
How we use idea submissions
We may use anonymised data from your idea submissions to improve our scoring algorithms. Your specific idea text is never shared with other users or made public. We do not use your ideas to build competing products.
Who we share data with
- Supabase: Database hosting (EU region).
- Anthropic (Claude): AI analysis of your ideas and build instructions. Anthropic's API does not train on user data.
- DataForSEO: Keyword research data (search volumes, CPC). Your idea text is used to generate keywords only.
- Recraft: Logo generation from text descriptions.
- Stripe: Payment processing.
- Vercel: Website hosting.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Export your data (data portability)
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time

Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
Data retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. Idea submissions and scoring data are retained indefinitely for algorithm improvement (anonymised). Build session data is retained for 24 months. You can request deletion at any time.
Children
HatchSolo is not intended for users under 16 years of age.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
